Novosineglazovsky settlement originated from railway station Novosineglazovo, which was founded in 1932 in connection with railroad construction with route from Chelyabinsk city to the South. Railway station Novosineglazovo got its name from the situated near lake Novosineglazovo, which is, in its turn, got its name from migrant whose surname was Novosineglazov. At the same time, from the very origin settlement was referred as Novosineglazovo, and its real name – Novosineglazovsky – was officially given to the settlement only a few years ago.
Development of adjacent to railway station Novosineglazovo territories began due and according to Resolution of Council of Ministers of USSR dated 1947 «About oil-pipeline construction (fuel pipeline) «Ufa-Omsk», passing between settlement Ukhanovka and railway station Novosineglazovo.
First product pipeline with diameter of 350 mm and reservoirs with tankage of 5000 m3 were constructed, then, in December 1951, tank loading operations and shipping of oil tanks for railway transportation started.
Necessity of twenty-four-hour undisturbed operation in all attendant works required location of maintenance personnel close to production facilities for efficient fault handling of the operational equipment and intensive construction. Besides, it was necessary to engage large number of specialists from different regions for gas pipeline running. In these circumstances construction of settlements close to Works became indispensable. Novosineglazovsky had become the one of such well-organized settlements.
Intensive construction of Novosineglazovsky began in 1946, on the 5th of January, 1957 settlement was granted a status of industrial community. ОАО Trubodetal, built in 1949, played the most significant role in Novosineglazovsky settlement development. Question of multistoried houses bulk construction in settlement was raised in January 1963 at the Plant Party Activists meeting.
In the autumn of the same year operations for construction-and-assembling of conduit were finished.
In November, builders put into operation electric main, after that telephone system-49 was prepared for equipment erection. From 1973 to 1975 settlement was provided with gasification.
In the second half of the seventies, broadcasting center was built-up in Novosineglazovo and all housing estates were supplied with radio communication. With assistance of «Trubodetal» workers the following facilities were built: greengrocery, bakery, canteen, cafe, cookery, dry-cleaners, post office, saving-bank, number of kindergartens, school, as well as domestic houses. Also automatic telephone system were assembled and started to serve 1000 address digits.
A significant event for the people of Novosineglazovo was grand opening of Palace of Culture in 1978. 17 study groups and sport teams were created on the basis of Palace of Culture. Over 400 people were engaged there simultaneously in different kinds of activities.
At present population of Novosineglazovsky settlement amounts to 14 700. Industrial enterprises have successfully overcome the crises. Now all of them occupy steady positions, work efficiently, increasing amount of production. And it is very important, especially for people living in the settlement, since the most of them work for the above enterprises.
Total area of Novosineglasovsky amounts to 35 km2, settlement has 44 streets, 23 of them - private sector. There are two comprehensive schools, college and five kindergartens in the settlement. Public health service is presented by municipal hospital, maternity welfare centre, children’s clinic, therapeutics department, chemistries, optics, ambulance, and also veterinary clinic.
Trade and consumer services are developing actively. Library and Orthodox Church are always opened for inhabitants of the Settlement.
Nowadays, Novosineglasovsky settlement has become an urban-type community with large number of houses, plants and enterprises of different kinds.
The settlement is developing constantly: construction is in progress; consumer services are improving rapidly; external view of Novosineglazovo is becoming better and better every year. And ОАО Trubodetal renders a great assistance in all the above undertakings.
