OAO (Open Joint-Stock Company) Trubodetal
Today ОАО Trubodetal is one of the largest mills in Russia and CIS that produces connections for pipelines from low-alloyed steel with the diameter from 57 to 1420 mm. Trubodetal is the key supplier for constructions of oil and gas supply pipelines and main pipeline networks. Productions facilities are capable to manufacture 30 thousand tons of connections annually, with more than 500 sizes both seamless and punched and welded connections (induction bends). All Mill`s products are certified to ISO, GOST R and meets the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001.
The united system of oil pipelines of the USSR was created in the seventies of the twentieth century. It became necessary for ОАО Trubodetal to elaborate new technologies, refine fittings and increase their output. For that the Special design office was created. The Trubodetal works became a highly-mechanized manufacture playing a leading role in the industry and producing a wide range of fittings for most pipelines of the USSR. Since 1970 the Mill has been an active participant of all large-scale projects of oil and gas-condensate field development such as Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod, Yamal-Western Europe, Baltic Pipeline System (BPS), Caspian pipeline Consortium (CPC), “Blue Stream”.
In 2005 ОАО Trubodetal was incorporated in the structure of the United Metallurgical Company (OMK). The main reason of this merging is need to satisfy the requirements of clients completely.
